Today I will be analyzing two political groups and their beliefs on the environment.

On the Liberal Side we have the Sierra Club:
Sierra Club believes in protecting the national parks and having peaceful protest to expose environmental problems.

Artifact:

As you can see the interest group is pretty open about their issue holding up signs in public saying, "Protect Our Environment. Protect Our Democracy." Also during this protest they wanted to show how the green movement isn't just for hippie white people but it has a diverse culture. This will lead to more people joining the movement and interest group because this will allow people to think that they will be brought in and not left out.

Biases and Limitations:
- There aren't really any biases towards any side because they are very open with their issue and don't have any facts or talk about their side or the other side being better or not.
- They don't site any specific evidence in any of their claims but only show graphs of different issues

On the Conservative Side we have The Heartland Institute:
The Heartland Institute researches and educates people on many environmental issues.

Artifact:

They have a very serious tone in meaning this topic is very serious and needs to be known and not taken lightly. Through their whole reports they base their arguments off of a lot science and experimental designs. Also every study will have a picture so we can visualize what is happening if we don't get what they are trying to say, having this will be easier for the interest group to inform a lot more people.

Biases and Limitations:
- They don't really lean towards any side because they are more informing people about certain scientific topics.
- Through their text they use a lot of words that I don't really understand so it might be hard for some people to understand what they are trying to say.

Similarities:
- Both interest groups believe in sustaining the earth and trying to get eliminate all the negative things that's happening to the environment
- Both interest groups do not lead to any side, they are both advocating for "green" life.

Differences:
- The liberal side believes in everybody coming together and trying to work and advocate for a better earth
- The conservative side believes in informing people about the science behind these topics hoping they do something themselves and step up.
